What is included in this Cloudways review?
In this review, I’m going to give you a comprehensive review of everything you need to know about Cloudways hosting.
I manage about 23 websites, including this one, all of which have been migrated to Cloudways hosting over a year ago.
My goal in this review is to help you understand the good, bad, and ugly of hosting your websites with Cloudways, so you can make the best decision for your business.
But, the long and short of it is, I love Cloudways so far and recommend it if you are looking for an easy-to-use fast VPS managed cloud host.
Don’t worry if you decide it’s not right for you, I’ve provided some good alternatives as well.

How does Cloudways work?
Cloudways is a managed hosting provider. It provides the service for individuals and businesses to run their websites on servers in its data centers.
The company also offers managed cloud services, such as VPS and dedicated instances, to its customers.
Cloudways provides the infrastructure for users without needing them to worry about the technical aspects of managing a server.
If you are a network administrator then no you probably don’t want to use Cloudways. I would recommend going straight to Digital Ocean, or AWS, or one of the other cloud hosts and do all the technical stuff yourself to set up your server.
I’m not technical so I’m willing to pay a couple of bucks more over the direct purchase to have a managed hosting experience.
Why Do You Need Web Hosting?
Web hosting is a service that’s necessary for people who have their own website. Web hosting provides the space to store files, share them with others, and keep them safe from hackers. With a web hosting company, you’re able to upload your website and use a server with its Internet connection so that it can be seen by the public at large.
What is Managed WordPress Hosting?
Managed WordPress Hosting is a service offered by web hosting providers that provide the infrastructure, support, and backup needed to run a website. Managed WordPress Hosters are responsible for installing and updating WordPress, maintaining the hosting environment, and providing remote access to support.
Managed WordPress Hosting is a service offered by web hosting providers that provide the infrastructure, support, and backup needed.
Cloudways vs. Traditional Hosting
Cloudways is different from traditional web hosts in that it provides a managed WordPress hosting service. Traditional web host providers do not invest much time to manage the security of sites hosted on their servers.
Cloudways is a company that has invested time to develop a managed WordPress hosting platform and provide excellent customer support.
Cloudways allows you to choose from 5 different cloud hosting providers:
Digital Ocean
Vultr
Linode
Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Google Cloud
I personally run all my websites on a scaled-up Vultr High-Frequency Server and love it!
Traditional hosting companies typically run their own servers and you are limited to their infrastructure, whereas with Cloudways you can choose your preferred technology stack and manage it all through Cloudways’ easy-to-use interface.
What Can You Do with the Cloudways Console?
Pros and Cons of Cloudways
Ok, let’s get into the pros and cons you can expect with Cloudways hosting. Now, you will see I think the Pros greatly outweigh the cons, but that’s not to say Cloudways is perfect. Because nothing is.
Pros
Easy WordPress Migration Plugin
The first thing I loved about Cloudways was how easy it was to migrate over your WordPress websites.
Cloudways will do the first website migration for you at NO CHARGE, which is awesome! Especially if you only have 1 website. I was a little worried about knowing how to get my sites over.
But, like I said I have a few handfuls of sites, and thanks to the WP migration plugin, migrating them over is a breeze.
You literally just install the migration plugin, follow the step-by-step guide to copy and paste the needed information from your server and application console and you are good to go.
I was able to bring over about 23 sites in 2 sessions lasting about 3 hours in total.
So the easy website migration is a definite plus!
I will mention that I did have a new site built for me with PHP and while it’s great I can host it on the same server, I needed some help from my developer to create and push those site files over. I have no idea what I’m doing when it comes to FTP protocols and databases.
But if you want to check out the FREE Trial of that Bio-Link Tool, check out the link shortener here.
Affordable High-Performance Cloud Hosting
Cloudways is a SaaS hosting provider.
The service provides cloud hosting, virtual private servers (VPSs), and dedicated servers.
Cloudways offers both Linux and Windows VPS hosting.
It also provides managed dedicated servers, VPSs, cloud servers, It supports PHP 7 out of the box.
FREE SSL Certificate Included & Easy To Install
Another great thing is that your servers come with FREE SSL certificates for unlimited sites. It is super simple to install as well.
You just go into your application (website) management panel and literally there is a section for SSL. I love that I can set this up right away and not get any of these redirect errors that can sometimes happen if you try to implement an SSL later in WordPress. Here is a screenshot of the SSL certificate option from the application management panel.
Unlimited Websites and Applications
The great thing about setting up your web hosting with a VPS, or virtual private server, is that you can run more than one website on the same server.
I’m running all my sites on one server. Now I’m not on the lowest plan, but still running 123 websites for about 50 dollars a month and they are fast. The front end and back end are running much better than they were prior to migrating them over.
Most are not huge sites of course, but you get the point.
I’m also someone who tends to have new website wonder lust, so I get an idea, find a domain, and want to set up the website.
That is how this website came to be of course. I wanted to create a free tool to find domain names with social profiles that were also available. Instead of buying a domain and finding that none of the social media accounts were available.
So if you are someone that is constantly building sites for affiliate marketing, lead gen, clients whatever. If you want to be able to manage them all from one place, I love Cloudways for that.
Spinning up a new site (application) on your server is literally as easy as clicking a button.
Easily Monitor Server Resources, Traffic, and More
Cloudways also makes it super easy to check the health of your server. You simply go into the server management panel and select “monitoring”.
Here you can check your CPU usage, Ram usage, Disk Usage, and your bandwidth usage. If you click on the “Details” button you can then get details by website or application.
This is a great way to see how your server is performing as your traffic and sites grow. The good news is they make scaling as easy as touching a button! More on that.
Scale Server in Minutes At Click Of A Button
The virtual scaling feature is amazing. You can literally start with the smallest hosting package from your preferred cloud host, and then as your website demands increase simply scale the size and speed of your server with a touch of a button.
As you can see I’ve used this button twice. But, I’m at a level now where I can scratch that new website itch a few more times with no problem.
But it’s super easy, you select your new tier, wait a few minutes and your server is scaled on the backend for you.
Control Over Server-Level Backups
Another great feature that I love is how simple it is to set up your own server-side backups. Again it’s as simple as going to the server management panel and selecting backups.
Here you can select when your backs are performed, how often they are done, and how long you want them retained.
You can also do an on-demand backup, by hitting the “Take BackUp Now” button.
I also, love that it tells you how much the off-side backup size is, this was something I could never tell from my past VPS.
Self-Healing Servers
This is also something I love having. Cloudways calls it self-healing servers, but in essence, most server issues are automatically on the back end by self-healing server restarts.
This is very handy if for some reason something with your server is overloaded, the auto restarts will clean it up at least temporarily so your websites don’t crash.
Giving you time to see what is causing the issue with support.
FREE WordPress Cache Plugin- BREEZE
Breeze is developed by Cloudways to offer a better WordPress performance than other cache plugins in the industry.
It’s simple to use and comes pre-installed on Cloudways for no charge.
Block Storage Scaling
You can scale up your server storage at a click of a button without changing other server parameters which is great!
Launch More Than 10 Convenient Apps
Cloudways comes with multiple easy-to-install apps, including 1-click, which makes it easy to install a number of WP or Magento sits on a single server.
ALL PHP Apps supported
This would have never crossed my mind or made my list of Pros until about 2 years ago. I had an old site on my old VPS server, that was set up on PHP software in 2010.
My old VPS host contacts me and says I need to upgrade my server to new PHP, the older ones were no longer being supported and down went my site, the first one I ever set up.
That was actually the last straw in getting me to look for another host since I had been with them for like 9 or 10 years.
The good news is after a lot of research it led me to Cloudways so guess it’s not all bad.
If you want to check out all the features that Cloudways offers, click the link below and it will take you directly to the feature page.
24/7/354 Free Support
They do offer free online chat support with additional advanced and premium support options. More on those under cons.
Pay As You Go
There is no lock-in contract to worry about, you only pay for what you use monthly. So, if you don’t like it for some reason you can leave.
In fact, that was my initial plan, was going to try it, see how I liked it, and if it didn’t work out go over to WPX Hosting. But, I haven’t looked back and I’m not planning on going anywhere, any time soon.
Cons
Support Could Be Better
Ok, I’m probably being pretty harsh here, to be honest. I’ve used their support a lot. They have helped me with a lot of questions over the year.
They offer 24/7/365 Live Chat, which is what I use most of the time, and I want to say 90% of the time I get someone in less than 5 minutes, but there has been a few times where I needed to wait like 20 minutes.
They have an online ticketing system, but I’ve found that to be slower. But, it’s good if you need to send something off and don’t have time to handle it on live chat.
Their first inclination is to point you to PDF articles on how to resolve your issue. These are well done, but a lot of times I just want someone to do it for me.
I will say if you ask them, they have always helped do it for me, so again I might be being harsh.
You can get phone support but it’s an addon as part of their Advanced and Premium support, but these seem to be for bigger operations since they cost 100 and 500 a month respectively.
In fairness, they offer a lot of services, most of which I’m not even sure what they are.
No CPanel or Plesk
This one really isn’t an issue for me at all. But, I wanted to make sure I mentioned it. I really prefer the server and application management platform that Cloudways offers. It’s easier to access and easy to use.
But, if you are used to CPanel or Plesk from your other hosts, then you need to know you won’t see these here.
Off-Site Backups are an upcharge
There is a slight charge for off-site backups which is a little annoying, but It’s really tiny. I think like a fraction of a penny for every GB.
No FREE Email Included
Another item that was a bit annoying and honestly almost kept me from choosing Cloudways at first. In fact, I went back and forth with them and WPX Hosting for a few months because of this. WPX is the other hosting company I was close to porting my sites over to. They offer phenomenal support and are a really great hosting company as well.
But, I actually found a really cool workaround for email that I love. I ended up signing up for Hostinger at their longest cheapest plan. I think I paid like 50 dollars for 5 years of unlimited emails. Now I set up all my sites for email through them. I can make 100 email alias for every site, and their website is easy to use for email.
So, don’t let that deter you.
Also, you can just pay for their Rackspace Email Add-on, and you are good to go.
CDN Additional Charge
The CDN is super fast, but there is a small upcharge. The nice thing is you can add it to specific applications as you need it. I believe I pay 1$ extra per month on my sites running ads to get the CDN activated.
No Domain Name Registration
You can’t register a domain name on Cloudways, so you will have to manage your domains from a different registrar. This is what I typically do anyway. I use both NameCheap and Godaddy.
What are Cloudway’s hosting plans?
Cloudways’ hosting plans start from $5.5 per month for a basic shared account up to $60 per month with advanced options.
The company offers paid and free trial plans for its hosting services. This makes it really easy to whip up a new account and server to see test the UI for yourself.
How to Decide What Cloud Hosting Is Best for Your Needs
There are a lot of great hosting companies out there. So, you need to decide what you are looking for in your cloud host before making a decision.
Identify your hosting needs
Ask yourself these questions to better understand what your hosting needs truly are:
How important are speed and performance?
How many websites or applications do I want to manage?
What are the start-up and scaling costs?
Can this host grow and scale with my needs?
What are my hosting must-haves?
What did I dislike from my previous host that I don’t want to have again?
Launching Your Server is Easy
Once you’ve answered those questions and finished your research getting started with Cloudways is easy.
Just decide which server company you want to host your sites on. They are all solid choices, I use Vultr High-Frequency servers because speed is important to me, and was one of the main reasons I left my previous hosting company.

Now it seems silly because it’s so easy to use, but for newbies like me, I highly recommend this video.
How to get started with a FREE trial for 3 days
It’s super easy to get started with a FREE 3 day trial of Cloudways. They offer it on every new account. So, I would suggest giving it a try and get a server started yourself.
You can see how easy it is to start a WordPress blog, Woocommerce store, PHP application and so much more.
Like I said before there are a lot of great hosting companies out there, there are some duds too.
But if you are anything like me, the more research you do the better you feel about your ultimate decision no matter what it is.
So, below I’ve added a list of Cloudways alternatives. They provide some more traditional hosting models for both Shared and WordPress managed hosting.

I participate in the Cloudways affiliate program and have links in this article, if you find it useful and decide to use one of the links, then the site makes a small commission.

Is Cloudways Good for E-Commerce Hosting?
Cloudways is the best cloud hosting for e-commerce and will be even better in the long run.
Here are some of the things they have that most other hosts don’t:
1. Cloudways is a hosted platform. This means that you do not have to set up your server and install Apache, MySQL, PHP, Perl, or any other software on your own. They host it for you.
2. It is a managed hosting platform, meaning that it will handle all the updates and security patches for you.
3. They have a built-in shopping cart feature (it means that you can sell your products with no need to install shopping cart software on your own).
4. They also offer a powerful, simple, and SEO-friendly control panel that is easy to use. .\

What About Performance and Uptime?
Performance and uptime both matter greatly when it comes to your website.
The performance of your website is often measured in terms of bandwidth, response time, and load times.
All servers launched on Cloudways have dedicated resources to ensure performance.
It is built on SSD-based hosting, SSD drives are 3X faster for driving top performance.
Cloudways, a CDN (content delivery network) service, is an easy yet powerful way to get better performance and global response times. It can be integrated with a few clicks without any complicated technicalities.
They provide an optimized stack that includes Memcached, Varnish, Nginx, and Redis for delivering swift responses.
These metrics are important to understand and to keep an eye on. Uptime is also important because it can give you a better idea of how much traffic your website receives, which will help you plan for future growth.
Will My Site Load Fast?
My experience has been that sites consistently load very fast, on top of that you will notice an immediate increase in speed when it comes to the back-end of your website.
I noticed right away that when I’m in WordPress dashboard, everything is faster, including updates.
This will definitely improve your user and personal experience because you will spend a lot less time waiting for stuff to load.
A Global Network of Datacenters
Cloudways offers 62 data centers in 15 countries and 33 cities. Meaning you can choose the server location that is best for your business.
Every mile-second counts, so why have your content hosted across the globe if your visitors are coming from the main location.
With Cloudways you can tap into their global network of data centers to choose the one that’s best for you.
Information about Cloudways CDN
Cloudways comes with a paid CDN addon on option. You can add this on at each application level to improve the speed of your content.
Can I use the Cloudflare CDN instead?
Yes, you can use the Cloudflare CDN instead of Cloudways CDN
Your Website May Need to be Tweaked for Speed
Once you are on Cloudways there are many different options like Varnish, Breeze, Magento Cache, Redis support to make your websites even faster.
What about website protection from hackers?
No host or website is 100% protected but Cloudways includes a lot of great security features to help you protect your website from hackers.
Dedicated Firewalls- All servers are protected by OS-level firewalls to filter out malicious traffic attempts
1 Click FREE SSL- we talked about this above

Security patching- They perform continuous security patches to the operating system
Bot Protection- with the help of their tech partner Malcare, they include a Bot protection feature for WordPress to help block brute force attacks and malicious botts and DoS
Application-Level Security
How is Their Customer Support?
Overall the customer support is there 24/7/365. It’s available through chat unless you pay for advanced or premium support which is pricy. But they definitely add enough support to turn hosting options that would be too complicated for the average joe into easy-to-use managed cloud hosting.
The Bottom Line
The bottom line is I would really recommend using Cloudways as your manage hosting option. You will love the speed, how easy it is to launch and manage new websites. The cost is very affordable for the hardware and performance you are getting.
If you compare the Ram and CPUs to what you get at a lot of other great companies, you will come out ahead with Cloudways.

As a future-but-not-yet-hugely successful startup, you want to pick a business name that grabs and holds your audience’s attention.
In this post, we’ll share with you the step-by-step process of crafting a catchy, unique, and memorable business name.
But that’s not all…
We’ll also share 500 unique business name ideas that you can use right off the bat.
Sounds interesting? Then let’s get this show on the road.
A Step-by-Step Guide to Naming Your Business
Step #1 – Know Your Business
Before you brainstorm for unique business name ideas, find the answers to these questions:
What are the core values of your business?
Who are your target audiences?
What services or products are you offering?
In other words, you need to have a clear idea about your business’s goals, mission, value proposition, and target audience.
Have you already penned a business plan? If so, that’s a good source to review to answer these questions. If not, you should do the necessary research before moving to the next step.
Step#2 – Brainstorm Descriptive Keywords
Now that you know your business’s core focus, think about keywords that suitably describe your business. Try to come up with as many descriptors as possible, as then finding those that reflect the brand image you would want to create will be easier.
For instance, in case you are launching a photography business, keywords such as “capture”, “camera”, “snap”, “lens”, “shoot” and the like are great starting points.
And since we are it, you may well want to plug in each of your keywords into our Naming Generator tool to get a bucketful of cool business name ideas.
Step #3 – Consider SEO
A great business name is one that potential customers can easily find online while performing a search. Therefore, take into account how well your brand name can position you on Google and other search engines.
You should consider the following three factors while making this evaluation:
Keyword Search Volume
Using a high search volume keyword in your business name is a great strategy. It may help you put your brand name in front of more people. For instance, “24 Hour Gym” may appear for all customers searching for a fitness club that’s open all day and all night.
Authority
Ideally, you would want to target a keyword for which the competition is not too heavy. If it is, consider some other important keyword.
For instance, let’s say you pick “Five Star Cafe” as a name for your café business but find the search engine result pages for this particular keyword is heavily dominated by Yelp and other review websites. In that case, you may not be able to accumulate enough authority to challenge top results. As a result your name may not appear on the first search engine result page even when potential customers are actively looking for you.
Search Intent
Google and other search engines have only one goal: to deliver as relevant search results to users as possible. For this reason, when brainstorming a business name, ensure it is line with search intent. Here’s an example to understand this better:
Let’s say you are launching a new Gym. In this casing, picking “Improve Your Fitness” as a name for your business may not be the best strategy. That’s because people searching for “improve my fitness” aren’t looking for a fitness coach or club but rather strategies to stay fit.
Step#4 – Pick a Name Style
There are a number of ways to craft a unique business name. One option, as said before, is to use a highly search keyword in your brand name. Other options worth considering are:
Use puns
Examples: Reiking in Health (for a Reiki business), Tequila Mockingbird (for a bar or pub business), SOFA So Good (for a furniture business), Lord of the Fries (for a fast food joint business), and MEAT U There (for a restaurant business)
Combine two or more words
Examples: Harmoneace, Metlife, KeyCorp, Equifax, GeoPark, and TruGreen.
Use a metaphor
Examples: Amazon, Nike, Quartz, Monocle, and Patagonia.
Use a single word
Examples: Apple, Google, Yahoo, Uber, and DRIP.
Include your name
Example: Lipton, Heineken, Stress Less with Tess, Susanna’s Morning Yoga, and Joe the Carpenter.
Step#5 – Check the availability of .com domain and social profile
Ideally, you would want .com domain because they are not only easy to recall but also the most frequently used. Besides checking the availability of domain, make sure social media handles for the shortlisted name are available. The last thing you would want is to have different social media profiles as that will only confuse your potential customers.
You can use our Business Name Generator tool to check for domain registration and social media profile availability. If the name is available, our tool will help you hunt the best deal on hosting and provide you with an amazing bonus bundle.
And in case you are still struggling to find a suitable name, consider picking one from the list below.
500 Unique Business Name Ideas You Can Use
If you happen to like any of these business names, feel free to make it yours. However, don’t forget to first run it through our Name Generator tool to check its availability.
If Shakespeare was planning to launch a business, we’re sure the first few questions he would is, “What’s in the name? Why do I need a catchy business name?” Many people ask these same questions, and the answer is…
A catchy business name helps you stand out from your competitors and make your brand memorable.
People will identify it more easily in ads or online, which helps your product or service stick out in the crowd. In short, a catchy business name helps you build a brand image quickly. Get it right, and you become a household name, like Uber, Yahoo, or Google.
That brings us to the all-important question: What are the attributes of a great business name?
We have all the answers for you. In this post, we’ll share:
Six attributes of a ‘brandable’ business name (with examples)
500 catchy business names
So let’s dive in.
Six Key Attributes of a Memorable Business Name
A catchy, creative, and descriptive name can make your business memorable. While naming your company may appear daunting at first, but that’s not really the case, especially if you know the attributes that make great business names.
It conveys your values or mission
A brand is not just a logo — it is a lot more than that. Your business name broadcasts what you do, as well as why it matters or why you do it.
Example: Harmony N Peace
What are the most important things that anyone who undergoes Reiki therapy wants? To be able to reduce stress and improve relaxation. The above name clearly conveys that mission, besides stating they exist to help you feel harmonious and peaceful.
It describes what you do
Your brand name can help you make the right impression the first time. Consider stating what you do in as few words as possible.
Example: RadianceHut
This is a great descriptive name for a Reiki business. It reassures would-be customers that they will get what they want — energy healing.
It makes you more ‘searchable’ on Google
Your company name can help you appear in search results even for non-branded queries. This, in turn, gives your business a competitive edge.
Example: NaturalStress Healing
In case you are Googling a Reiki business to get help in stress management or natural healing, you’re likely to search using keywords such as “stress removal remedies” or “energy healing.” When a business named “Natural Stress Healing” populates the search page, it’s likely to stick out. Adding keywords that users might be using into your business name is an effective way to stick out and appear more often in search results.
It is simple
A great brand name is not only easy to remember but also easy to recognize. To help your prospects do that, pick a name that’s easy-to-spell and pronounce.
Example: The Reiki Pro
This name is simple and easy to recall. Plus, it describes who you are — a bunch of Reiki professionals eager to help people.
It is clever or fun
A great way to ensure your people remember and recall your brand name is by being funny. A play on a word or a pun can help you get your brand name stuck in your prospects’ heads.
Example: Reikintensity
This brand name combines two words, “Reiki” and “Intensity.” This smart play on words helps this Reiki provider stick out. It’s witty, memorable, and catchy — all key elements of a great brand name.
It shows the value it offers to your customers
Position your company or business as something that solves problems and people will sit up and notice it more.
Example: Awaken Healthy
Every person looking for Reiki healer wants to feel energized, refreshed and rejuvenated. This business conveys the advantages it offers in its business title.

You can begin by using our FREE Naming Generator to quickly list an array of makeup business name ideas. You can also continue reading our quick guide to naming your makeup business.
Make it cute and memorable. The Makeup business is about being attractive, so come up with a name that sounds “pretty”, too. “Pouty Lips” sounds quirky and charming and plenty of people actually do it to be cute, too. And when something is cute, it is easily remembered.
Make it relevant. How do you want your makeup business to be perceived by the public? Your makeup business name should be relevant to, well… makeup. Don’t just name your business “Greatest of All Time”. Drill down a little deeper and go with “Great Looks Makeup Art”.
Use your business location. The name of your city or state is a great way to brand your business. Simultaneously, it lets your community know that you are open for business. You can also think of nicknames that your city or state is known for or you can use slogans or historical accounts that are relevant to your location. “Cincinnati Stylists” or “The Big Apple Makeup Studio” should give you more excellent ideas.
Connect with your customers. In almost every aspect of human interaction, psychology plays a significant role in connecting with people. And people who feel connected to your business become loyal customers. This is why a business name that evokes a certain emotion (like “Fiery Femme” or “Desire to be Different”), or those that remind them of their personal experiences (like “Debutante Days” or “Comfort Zone”), may be good for your makeup business name and branding.

Note that lawn care or landscaping businesses are charging anywhere from $20 to $85 per lawn cut (all dependent on factors like size, slope, and others).
Flexibility is one of the top reasons why many people wish to start their own business. A lawn care or landscaping business has so much potential and can evolve into something much bigger. Aside from the flexibility offered by having your own business, lawn care tends to be stable and accommodate repeat business. Lawn care or landscaping accounts are perpetual – meaning, clients are typically ongoing and consistent. The right business name can make all the difference when it comes to positioning a business for success, rather than just plodding on. Get the name right, and, more than just a label, you get a BRAND and all the perks that come with it.
Pick a name that sounds good when said out loud. Alliteration and rhythm have always been a top factor when choosing a business name. Business names that roll off the tongue easily are quickly recalled and are highly brand-able. As examples, you could name your lawn care business: Orchard Orchestra or Patio Police. Just make sure to say it aloud repeatedly. Make sure this rhythmic name of yours will not quickly turn into a tongue twister situation. Remember: people will say the name on the radio, a video or in conversation.
Pick a name that is meaningful and talks about a benefit. In other words, Ii you hear it, you know right away what it’s all about. Take Lawn Doctors as an example. The word “Doctors” instantly implies that the business is about healing what could be a damaged (or “sick”) lawn, whether in part or in whole.
Steer clear of acronyms. Unless you are IBM or 3M, acronyms or initials are blah. These two mammoths in their respective industries are multibillion-dollar corporations that have been around for decades. Acronym-ing your lawn care business might work when you’ve been around for years that everybody knows you, or have brought in billions of dollars to the industry that everybody would’ve heard of you. Until then, rely on a name that is interesting and catchy.
Be specific. Maybe do a lawn care business name that takes advantage of details such as numbers and days. The 10-Minute Lawn is pretty specific in saying that you can do a basic lawn care procedure quickly and efficiently. Saturday Lawns can work at subliminally suggesting to your clients to be regular with contracting your services, not to mention they can think about you taking care of their lawns one day in every week. Avoid generic names that don’t mean anything.
Consider Your Market. When conceptualizing your start-up, this is one of the most important questions to ask yourself: what areas are you going to offer services in? Naming your lawn care business according to the market you would like to reach is one another way of helping your lawn care business succeed. Mom n’ Pop Lawn Care has a down-home ring to it and may appeal to households with senior-aged heads of the family. Who better to trust than those who are like them, who are likely parents, and consider everyone like family?
Keep It simple and easy to recall. Simple and memorable names will help you get you more traffic than a lengthy and complicated name. So make your lawn care names simple. One way to do so is to keep it short. Short names are easy to remember and pronounce. Think Lawn Love.

Share 500 Brandable Food Business Names
Give You A How-To Guide For Naming Your Business Right
Your food business name is one of the most important pieces to launching your own brand.
Why? Glad you asked.
Your brand name has power — lots of it.
It represents your mission, values, and reputation. It influences how your potential customers remember your food business and refers and perceive it.
When picking your brand name, there’s a lot to you need to consider, so that you get it absolutely right. Therefore, this is one process you wouldn’t want to rush.
Having said that, there’s no fixed way of coming up with an ideal business name. The strategy that may work for one brand may not work for another. For this reason, we are sharing five different strategies for crafting a perfect brand name.
Strategy #1 – Shun Obscurity
Did you know Jeff Bezos initially named his company “Cadabra”, but then chose Amazon because it was too obscure and difficult to spell?
If Amazon’s popularity is any indication, Jeff Bezos was right about changing the name.
Take his cue and don’t pick an obscure name for your food brand. Such names are easy to misrepresent and often hard to remember. Instead, pick simple, memorable names that convey the essence of your business well.
Here are some examples:
Plant N Plate – An easy to remember name, it conjures up an image of organic, vegetarian food business.
Cool Sushi – This name leaves no room for doubt as to what this brand is all about.
SnackWise – This is another memorable name that clearly conveys the brand’s specialty.
TopGrill – The moment you hear this name, you feel like it would be a haven for those who love grilled foods.
Strategy #2 – Be Creative
While descriptive brand names — like the four shared above — help you position your brand in customers’ mind the way you want, clever brand names are usually easier to remember.
We come across several brand names in a course of a single day and often witty names stick in our mind better. So don your creative hat and let the juices flow. Check out what we came up with below.
Love Bites
Craft N Creams
Meat Call
Meat U There
Fish and Her Ex Cooked
SproutedWell
FoodSetGo
Strategy #3 – Pick a Modern Name
This could be a great strategy for picking a food business name if your target audience is mainly Gen Z. Modern names are often intriguing and work best for companies that don’t want to be boxed in.
Some examples of modern food business names are as follows:
Smoochys
SimplyHOTT
SnackyDay
Portugrill
Brunchy
JustChow
Foodiago
Strategy #4 – Think about the emotions you want to evoke
How do you feel when you hear a brand name Death’s Door?
Perhaps, you feel a tab bit uncertain and risky. Well, that’s the whole point. This is an actual brand name of a company selling Gin.
You can grab your audience’s attention by using a brand name that evoking certain feelings. However, make sure the emotions your brand name evokes are in line with your brand’s values and mission.
Some examples of emotional Food business names are as follows:
HeartyMeal
Wholesome Food Joint
Organic Love
VeggieCity
Fresh Servings
Strategy #5 – Don’t pick a name that’s too limiting
Before you zero in on a brand name, ask yourself: Is the name fitting for the future and growth of your food business? This way you will you be able to avoid a situation where you may have to rebrand your business down the road.
If you pick a name that’s too narrow, diversifying your offerings may prove difficult. For example, a brand name like ”SproutedWell” or “Organica” may make it hard for you to diversify into meat-based food items.

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), which regulates cosmetics among many other consumables, classifies cosmetics as products “intended to be applied to the human body for cleansing, beautifying, promoting attractiveness, or altering the appearance without affecting the body’s structure or functions”. This definition by the US FDA encompasses any material intended for use as an ingredient of a cosmetic product.
In the last few years, the beauty industry all over the world has seen enormous progress and a steadily climbing interest in entrepreneurship. Countless new brands have been created and an endless list of new ingredients have been developed. With the right brand (which is born from the right business name), your own beauty products or cosmetics business should grow along with the dynamic industry.
When trying to name your start-up, it may be a little tricky to determine exactly where to start. Experts believe that the first step in creating a great brand name is zero-ing in on the underlying tone of your brand. In other words, you want to position your brand just right – aligning it with your audience as well as your business plan. Below are a few things you can keep in mind as you try to short-list awesome name ideas for your beauty products or cosmetics business.
Pragmatic Names. A business name that is rooted on practicality, especially those that are straightforward and descriptive, are very popular. It is believed that sensible and realistic names that are directly speaking about what you have to offer help reduce marketing costs by explaining your value right in the name. Examples of pragmatic names are Beauty Balms and Magnetic Lashes.
Clever Names. Dare to be fun and playful with your branding. Fun names can be playful (Rosie’s Cheeks), sound cute (Wiggly Wigsy), unexpected (Chase the Moon), or leverage on childlike imagery (Jack & Jill’s).
Classic Names. You can hardly go wrong with a classic name – they are timeless, elegant, and preeminent. A lot have done it, and maybe you could, too. Go with single-word names like Grandeur, Covet, or Brilliance.
Modern Names. Hip, dare-to-standout names are always fresh and interesting. Uniquely modern names (think: Hulu, Shopify, Zara) drive interest and even excitement. Go modern with your beauty or cosmetics business by naming it something like Hot Chick, Gypsy Touch, or Lensirrific.
Emotional Names. A great branding strategy is to lead with emotion. Emotions are a powerful way to rapidly connect with your target market. Strong emotions may likewise help with brand recall and staying top-of-mind among your market. Sheer Ecstasy or Ember Stone may remind of or evoke emotions.
Owning a small-scale beauty or cosmetics business makes it easier to target specific niches (market subset), compared to larger companies that typically veer away from specialty cosmetics due to profit margin concerns. For instance, your beauty business may be focused primarily on the niche market of sensitive-skinned users or allergy sufferers. This kind of focus helps you build a brand that members of this niche will recall whenever they need more cosmetic products or want to refer people who experience similar issues. If your beauty business is targeted to a specific niche market, this can go into the name you choose. Vegan Valley, perhaps?
Finally, being able to deliver personalized customer service is one key advantage of owning a small beauty products or cosmetics business. You may offer tutorials on how to use your products and help customers choose the best ones most suited to their skin tone and type. You may name your beauty business accordingly, calling it something like Makeup Class.

How to Come Up With a Memorable Landscaping Business Name
Follow this simple four-step process to craft a suitable name for your landscaping business. In this example, we’re creating a landscaping business brand name that conveys professional, natural, and environment-friendly services.
Here are the four steps we took to come up with these landscaping business names.
Step #1 – Brainstorm name ideas
The first step is to identify words that could nicely fit into your landscaping business names. In addition to words related to the landscaping business, you can use words that suggest your services are reliable, ecological, and environmentally-friendly. At this point, your goal is to come up with a list of brand names that suitably define your landscaping business.
We used words such as “Eco”, “Green”, “Lawn”, and “Landscaping” to create a list of business name ideas. We came up with these 18 names after brainstorming:
Precision Landscaping
Lawn Miracles
Lighted Landscaping
Landscape Love
Lawn Fairy
Lovely Landscaping
Greenology
Lawn Love
Green Machines
GreenLands Landscaping
Above All Lawn Care
Professional Lawn Care
All Pro Lawn Care
Ecolands
GreenSpace
GrassGoneWild
Green Love
Greenden
Step #2 – Prune Down Your List
Once your initial list of landscaping business names is ready, go through it carefully to weed out names that are hard to speak loud, spell, or remember. Keep brand names that communicate your service’s USP or brand values and are brandable, memorable, and catchy. The aim of this step is to shorten your list to three to six potential brand names.
You can use this short checklist to trim down your initial list.
Is the brand name easy to remember?
Does the name aptly convey your brand values or best feature?
Is the brand name easy to say aloud?
Does the name use clichés or overused words?
Is the brand name unique?
After we ran our initial list through the above checklist, we were able to trim it down to the following four landscaping business name ideas:
Grass Gone Wild
Greenden
Lands
Precision Landscaping
Step #3 – Seek Feedback
Have you identified your target audience? Good. Reach out to them for feedback. If it’s not possible to connect with your target audience, seek feedback from people working in your industry.
Remember: Be clear about what you want to ask. Otherwise, you may only receive vague answers, which won’t help you much in your quest to find the perfect brand name.
Some questions you may want to ask your audience are:
What is the first thing that springs to mind when you hear the name?
Is the name easy to remember?
Based on the feedback you receive you can decide which of the shortlisted names are still relevant and aptly represent your landscaping business.
Here’s the feedback that we received.
GrassGoneWild – It conjures up an image of a professional and specialized landscaping service. Plus, the name is catchy and memorable.
Greenden – This brand name gives an impression of a specialized and reliable service and is short and sweet.
Ecolands – This name conveys eco-friendly and professional landscaping services. Also, it is simple and easy to remember.
Precision Landscaping – This name gives assurance that an experienced team of professional landscapers will provide complete lawn care.
Step #4 – Check for Domain and Social Profile Availability
This is the last and the most important step. Ideally, you would like to have at least three landscaping business names with you in case any of the shortlisted names are already booked.
Run your list of selected brand names through our Business Name Search tool to check for domain and social profile availability.
If they are available, don’t waste time in registering and hosting your business. Our Name Generator tool will get you the best possible rates from some of the top-ranking hosting services and let you download an awesome bonus bundle free of cost!
